Of Late

It’s been an interesting couple of weeks. I climbed a mountain. Rolled my jeep. Spent 24 hours in a shipping crate to raise money for FAME (you may donate here). Put the jeep back together, I have some of the best people in the world here to help us. And took a Western Philosophy test.

Yes, there was more than that, but those were the highlights. Oh yeah, we also pulled another 40 lbs of beans out of the garden. I think my neighbors are tired of green beans.

Courtney is working at the VA for 2 more weeks, and then she will be leaving there to begin her clinicals to finish her MSN so she can be an FNP as opposed to the RN that she is now. This will be an interesting time for us as we will both officially be unemployed. I would have NEVER in a million years thought I would be in Knoxville, TN home schooling my kids eating out of our own garden, chicken eggs included, and be a student again! It has been a very interesting ride… I am so proud of Courtney. It is so cool watching her develop into a different level of professional. I believe it is definitely official; she is way smarter than me, and way way way better looking!!! The kids seem to be doing great. Molly has found some good friends. She also passed her driving test while driving Courtney’s 5-speed manual transmission. She's outdriving the boys! Wyatt has purchased a guitar, but I’m not sure he is digging on it of late. He has been out with a friend of mine from church this week delivering phone books. They have some great dog chasing stories. Turns out the boy can run, who knew…
